Unlike deep sea fishing in many other locales, on St Croix you’ll spend most of your time fishing – not motoring out to the fishing spot. Why? Well, because at about 2 miles offshore you are in some of the deepest water you’ll find. St Croix lies on the edge of the shelf creating “the wall” (its what also makes us a world-class Scuba location). Depending upon the season, you can hope to catch Mahi-Mahi (Dolphin Fish), Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna, Marlin and even Sail fish.
Charters offer 1/2 day and full day tours and accommodate up to 6 people. They charge per boat, not per person, so grab some friends and make a day of it!
