Savant Mexican/Thai/Caribbean Fusion
Savant is our favorite place to dine on St. Croix. The food is out of this world and was voted “Most Creative” by the VI Daily News Readers and the ambience is one of a kind. Serving fresh seafood, Thai dishes, and their famous stuffed filet, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Start off with the grilled calamari and finish with one of the decedent deserts. Inside is charming, but ask for a table in the totally sexy courtyard – you’ll be glad you did.
Special Note: Owner Tom Miller’s wife, Kate Bartoldus, was a prominent artist/sculptor in the movie industry whose filmography includes: Town & Country, Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense, Fallen, Chasing Amy & 12 Monkeys. She hand-sculpted the courtyard’s bar, booths and other treats giving it a truly remarkable ambiance.
