Sip a cocktail while taking in sweeping views of Buck Island. Offering an array of good eats in the restaurant, including a popular Brunch, and a take-homes in their gourmet market. Known for large portions, comfort foods, delicious baked goods and Lori's famous fried chicken.
Open 365 days of the year and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Deep End Bar and Restaurant offers a diverse menu with weekly specials. Monday is pizza night, Thursday is Mexican night and Saturday is Seafood night and the best tasting ribs on-island. Don't miss Sunday brunch with live music and drink specials.
One of the island's not-so-best-kept secrets. You'll find lines of locals each day at lunch time and a lively bunch around dinner. "Chicken Shack" uses a secret blend of seasoning and slow roasts chickens over their uniquely designed rotisseries. Other menu favorites include: ribs, steak, pork chops, meatloaf, conch, and fish. Sides include Mac-n-cheese, Puerto Rican-style rice and beans and, of course, Johnny Cakes!
Known for having the best lobster and freshest fish on St. Croix, Duggan's Reef is a seafood lovers paradise. This informal, open to the breeze spot overlooks Buck Island and is open for dinner every night. Specials include fresh fish, pasta, grilled rack of lamb, filet mignon and freshly prepared desserts. Sunday brunch serves eggs Benedict, quiche and $3 Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's.
Without a doubt one of my favorite spots on St Croix! Cooking up "good mood food" using fresh local ingredients from St.Croix's many farms and local fisherman. Be sure to try the blue cheese cheesecake (yep you read that right and don't miss it!!) or their teriyaki glazed edamame. Pair your meal with a glass of wine from their extensive list or try one of their signature cocktails like their twist on the Dark & Stormy.
This Puerto Rican influenced joint has some of the best and reasonably priced steaks on island. Featuring local Puerto Rican and West Indian favorites like Goat Stew, Mofongo, Tostones, Plaintains ... and ask for the off-menu Casava Fries! It’s not fancy, but the food is DELISH!!
This place has the BEST BBQ ribs on the island... Mouth-watering, finger-licking good! You’ll find other favorites like steak, chicken and lamb and plenty of fried food. This is not the spot for the health-conscious ... but they do have a couple good vegetarian options!
This little convenience store and deli may not look like much on the outside, but it has the best Cubanos this side of Cuba! Stop in and takeout early for a great hike to the beach. Homemade sub rolls, sandwiches, salads and West Indian pates.
Serving breakfast and lunch. A great little, trendy diner in the heart of Pan Am Pavilion in downtown Christiansted (where Shenanigans used to be). They have a healthy and creative daily chalkboard menu, Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Be sure to try their delicious, gluten-free Venezualan arepas sandwiches!
