Savant is one of my favorite places to dine on St. Croix. The food is out of this world and was voted “Most Creative” by the VI Daily News Readers. The ambiance is one of a kind. Serving fresh seafood, Thai dishes, and their famous stuffed filet, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Start off with the grilled calamari and finish with one of the decedent deserts.
Inside is charming, but ask for a table in the totally sexy [...]
An uptown coffee shop in downtown Frederiksted. Enjoy delicious coffee, frappes, organic tea and locally made ice cream at this hip, funky urban-inspired coffee house and art gallery. Located across from the pier in Frederiksted and serving organic breakfast, lunch, salads, sandwiches and wraps. WiFi available in cafe.
Down the road from the pier in Frederiksted, Turtle’s serves up the biggest sandwiches on St. Croix. Known for homemade breads and large portions, Turtle’s is a local favorite. Dine in on the covered patio or order to go for a picnic on the beach. I always opt for the salad/sandwich combo. The portions are large enough to be shared. Grab a bag of chips and a cold drink and you’ve got lunch.
Located on the beach in Frederiksted, Beachside Cafe features beachfront dining with incredible views of the Caribbean sunset. An eclectic Americana style menu features steaks, seafood and other dining specials that incorporate tropical flavors.
There's nothing better than an ice cold beverage, brick over pizza and a view of Christiansted Harbor. The Mill is a popular spot on the Christiansted Boardwalk serving salads, gourmet pizza and more. Gluten free options available.
Opened in December 2017, Louie & Nacho’s has become a Frederiksted hot spot. Located next door to The Fred with a killer view of the pier and the Caribbean Sea, it’s the perfect spot to grab a cocktail, take a walk on the beach and get on island time.

This little convenience store and deli may not look like much on the outside, but it has the best Cubanos this side of Cuba! Stop in and takeout early for a great hike to the beach. Homemade sub rolls, sandwiches, salads and West Indian pates.

Hip, trendy and sustainably crafted, BES Craft Cocktail Lounge is an absolute treat. Craft cocktails and tapas are created from farm fresh and local ingredients. An adorable Bistro with big taste. St Croix culinary icons Dave and Jane Kendrick and family serve lunch and an early dinner crowd with old favorites like Dave's fish picatta and Sicilian meatballs. You'll find fresh salads and other great eats as well as an excellent wine list.
Serving breakfast and lunch. A great little, trendy diner in the heart of Pan Am Pavilion in downtown Christiansted (where Shenanigans used to be). They have a healthy and creative daily chalkboard menu, Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Be sure to try their delicious, gluten-free Venezualan arepas sandwiches!
